Xplore Dundee and Dundee City Council are once again teaming up to offer kids bus tickets for just 20p during the school holidays.

The Holiday Hop will return from Good Friday (30th March) until Sunday 15th April and means up to three kids can travel for just 20p each when travelling with an adult.

Managing Director Elsie Turbyne said, “The Holiday Hop offers great value bus travel for families this Easter and we’re glad to be partnering with Dundee City Council, Smarter Choices Smarter Places, Stagecoach and Moffat & Williamson to bring back this special fare.

“Our network of routes covers all the main shopping destinations, leisure pursuits and visitor attractions that Dundee has to offer, and we’re also running our ‘Easter Egg-spress’ shuttle service to Camperdown Park for the fun day on Sunday 1st April. It’s a great time to get on board our buses!”

Special Service 54 will operate every 20 minutes on Easter Sunday to transport customer to and from the Easter Fun Day at Camperdown Park, featuring live music, games and an easter egg hunt. The principal City Centre bus stop for service 54 will be on Whitehall Street, (next to Toni Macaroni) and it will operate:

• To Camperdown every 20 minutes from 11:40 until 14:00
• From Camperdown every 20 minutes from 13:20 until 16:00

Kids can board for just 20p each with the Holiday Hop, or families of up to five people can travel together with a GroupSaver - just £6 on the mTicket app.

Dundee City Council

Dundee draws skilled workers from a 60-minute catchment population of 640,000 and has a local population of over 140,000. The availability of a large pool of highly skilled labour is a key feature in the Dundee economy. Flexibility in the labour force is currently more prevalent in Dundee than in Scotland as a whole. All forms of labour market flexibility - part-time, temporary employment, self-employment and shift work - are widely operational within the city. Labour force stability in the city is excellent, enabling companies to plan with confidence. Labour turnover levels are less than 5% and absenteeism averages 2%.
