We are inviting private, corporate and community organisations to be part of this year’s Annual Volunteer Awards, that recognises those people that make a difference to the communities across Dundee, by sponsoring one of the award categories.
The award evening includes a drinks and canapé reception followed by the award presentations and an opportunity to hear about all the finalists and the difference they have made by their volunteering or when managing volunteers. Sponsorship package costs £300 and we would invite a representative to take part in the decision making panels for the award nominations (if available) and present the award on the night to the finalists and winner. Sponsor names will be included on all publicity and promotions.
The award categories available for sponsorship are
· Volunteer of the year – a volunteer who has shown dedication and commitment throughout the year and gone above and beyond in the usual volunteering role. Sponsored by MMG Archibold
· Volunteer Team of the Year – a team of volunteers who have gone the extra mile to make a difference in the community. It could be a team who took part in a one off volunteering project or who regularly volunteer as a team.
· Kathryn Mackenzie Make a Difference Award - someone who has given a little bit extra and made a difference, to a person or an organisation. An inspirational person in both what they do and how they do it.
· Trustee / Board Member of the Year - a trustee or board member who has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, who has supported their organisation to change, develop or grow and who understands good governance in the Third Sector – Sponsored by Lyndsays Solicitors
· Volunteer Manager / Co-ordinator of the Year - they ensure that their volunteers feel valued and their contribution is recognised and are always seeking new opportunities to develop and further enhance the volunteering experience.
· Lifetime Achievement Award – a person who has given their time and commitment over many years, who through their dedication and hard work have supported an organisation and people in Dundee.
