‘Mine's bigger than yours' says Noel Gallagher in friendly poke at Scone Palace

Rock star Noel Gallagher took a friendly poke at Scone Palace at the weekend on a visit to the historic Perthshire visitor attraction for BBC's The Biggest Weekend.

The singer and frontman to Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, which headlined the event on Saturday, signed the Palace visitor book with the cheeky comment: "A Palace? My gaff's bigger than this." It is signed with two kisses.

Noel, who is married to Scottish publicist Sara MacDonald, closed the highly successful two-day music event with a 90-minute set on Saturday evening. Hits from his High Flying Birds, Oasis and The Beatles prompted a mass sing-a-long from the crowd. The Biggest Weekend attracted more than 20,000 people over two days.
