Balhousie St Ronans care home is opening its doors to the local community to host a special summer fete party this weekend.

Staff at the Dundee-based care home have organised an array of activities for residents to enjoy along with their families, friends and staff. Anyone else, including friends from the local community will be warmly welcomed to join in the afternoon of fun, which is from 2.00pm-4.00pm this Saturday.

Activities include a bouncy castle, tombola, stocks, a bric-a-brac stall as well as a BBQ and cake and candy stall. All money raised will go towards the home's resident comfort fund.

Denise Grant-McCorkindale, Home Manager at Balhousie St Ronans Care Home commented:

"Every year, our summer fete is a brilliant afternoon out for everyone involved. We are proud of our links with the local community and look forward to welcoming people into our home to join in the fun."
