Today saw the announcement of the shortlisted entries for The Courier Business Awards 2018. Having confessed to 'being blown away by the strength of the entrepreneurial talent pool in the region.' the judges have whittled the entrants list down from 120 to 63 who will go head to head on the 27 October.
With 16 categories for this years awards and a further 2 being announced on the night, the event is sure to bring in yet another outstanding audience from the local region.
We are delighted to have so many of our Chamber members being shortlisted for the awards, nearly 50% of businesses shortlisted are members, a fantastic testament to the fastest growing Chamber! Not only that but 6 of them are nominated in more than one category.
NCR & SP Technology have been nominated in 3 categories, the most awards any organisation is up for, with Roy Henderson & Lee Nixon from SP Technology also up for Entrepreneur of the Year. Whilst ATL Turbine Services, Star-Dundee, Blaze Manufacturing Solutions and Pirate Boats are all up for 2 awards.
