Toytown, one of the UK’s largest independent toy retailers will officially launch a new flagship store in Dundee’s Overgate this weekend.
The new unit, which is just over 3,000 sq.ft, is located opposite Starbucks on the upper level in the former WH Smith unit.
Its welcome arrival has led to the creation of 8 jobs.
Founded in Belfast in 1980 by Alan Simpson, the award-winning, family-run Toytown offers the latest in-demand toys at fantastic prices. These include big-hitting brands such as Lego, Star Wars, Disney, Marvel, Barbie, Power Rangers, Fisher-Price, Playmobil and Tiny Tears as well as the newest must-haves including LOL Surprise dolls and Smooshi Mooshi.
Toytown won Toy Retailer of the Year with the presentation made at the London Toy Fair in January 2018.
The official opening of the flagship will be across this weekend on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th of August with lots of exciting in-store surprises planned including competitions and free gifts with purchase.
