Dundee Carers Centre have been awarded the bronze LGBT Charter in recognition of their commitment to ensuring the charity is LGBT inclusive for staff, volunteers and the people who use its services.

The Centre has been working towards the Charter over the past year, which has included participating in last years’ Pride event in the city, engaging with promotional campaigns such as Purple Friday, organising staff training sessions with LGBT Youth Scotland and also a review and update of policies in the organisation to ensure that they reflect current LGBTQIA best practice.
