Capital Document Solutions celebrates its 40th anniversary as Scotland’s largest independent office equipment and document solutions provider.

40 years of success

With over 200 staff operating from branches in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Aberdeen and Shetland, as well as Highland Office Equipment in Inverness, Capital provides office solutions, along with the highest standards of advice and service across Scotland.

Thanks to well-established partnerships with Ricoh, Konica Minolta, HP and Canon, the company is set for many more years of success!

Capital’s Founder & Managing Director Tom Flockhart has said:

“What an achievement – and a worthy and much deserved celebration for a quick 40 years in business!”

A Capital celebration

Celebrations were held on 2nd March at Prestonfield House Hotel. Upon arrival, George Watson's College Pipes & Drums gave a rousing and patriotic welcome.

As whisky-cured salmon and beef en croute with haggis was served, guests revelled in the surroundings that featured flower arrangements and balloon displays from local suppliers. A thistle-decorated cake rounded off the food, its fine craftsmanship adding to the decor.

Scottish comedian Des Clarke amused as MC and performed a set peppered with stories of his Gorbals upbringing. Also hailing from Glasgow, The Jack Dames took to the stage to provide the music for some serious dancing!

Surprises were in store as local favourites The Vintage Girls added a touch of retro and sang “Happy Birthday” to a now somewhat emotional audience!
