Nicoll Russell Studios are delighted that their joint work with Jacobs at Dundee Station is shortlisted in the Rail Partnership Awards as BEST PROJECT OF 2018: FOR PROJECTS VALUED UP TO £50 million. This comes hot on the heals of the station’s integrated hotel - Sleeperz winning the Best Budget Hotel Award.

Being on the short list is a great acknowledgement of the success of the project given the 2019 Rail Partnership Awards seek to celebrate the very best of 2018’s achievements in the rail industry. Particularly because Network Rail is working in partnership with Rail Media to recognise organisations which are helping to deliver a better railway for a better Britain.

“The supply chain rightly drives us to improve the way we work and encourage innovation. Together, we are focused on delivering a railway that passengers and freight users can rely on. The supply chain’s role in this is more critical than ever. Thank you to everyone who makes our passengers’ experience of the railway a safe and reliable one, and please keep pushing us to collectively do more.”

Andrew Haines, Chief Executive, Network Rail

Dundee Station is a highly innovative oversite, mixed use commercial development delivered by Dundee City Council which has greatly enhanced the passenger experience and created a gateway to the rail network, the Dundee Central Waterfront regeneration area, the adjacent new V&A museum, the city and the wider city region.
