At a dinner held in the Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa last night (Thursday 27 June), Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce launched their inaugural Chamber Business Champion Award.
The Award, which has a prize fund worth £7,500 with the STV Growth Fund, is calling for Chamber members to demonstrate that their business is a Champion of Dundee and Angus.
Members will have the opportunity to tell their story, from supporting the local economy to promoting the region, working with local third sector organisations, connecting with local businesses to trade with and everything in between!
Alison Henderson, Chief Executive Officer at Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce said:
‘We’re delighted to be giving businesses the chance to showcase how they champion Dundee & Angus. Our local business community is thriving, 
ambitious and drives the regional economy. We’ve got a brilliant prize package to give to the business which demonstrates the impact that they make. We’ll also be giving the public the chance to vote on a short list of finalists, so it will be great to get everyone involved. I’m looking forward to seeing all the entries”
