Can you help us once more by volunteering at the Farewell Weekend?

Published

21st August 2019

With roles ranging from selling and checking tickets to merchandise and brochure sales, counting money and helping the public, there is something for everyone who wants to help out.

We are looking for volunteers for the following time slots:

Friday September 13: 10am-2pm and 2-6pm
Saturday September 14: 10am-2pm and 2-6pm
Sunday September 15: 10am-2pm and 2-6pm

Volunteering at the Farewell Weekend is a great opportunity to engage your team with Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail one last time and they will be able to enjoy seeing the sculptures altogether themselves, as well as sharing in the joy the event will bring to people all across the region.

The Farewell Weekend, at Slessor Gardens, is sponsored by Zero Waste Scotland and features all 36 large Oor Wullie sculptures as well as the 33 wee statues created by local schools and community groups.

If you are interested in helping out, please email tiffeny.rothwell@archie.org with your availability and she will be in touch to make arrangements.

We will provide you with something to wear and everything you need to know, so all you need to do is get in touch.

Once again, thank you for supporting Oor Wullie’s BIG Bucket Trail and The ARCHIE Foundation.

Best wishes
