Businesses in Dundee are invited to attend a specialist clinic hosted by Barclays on 19 November, aimed at providing additional support to customers through Brexit.
The specially tailored Brexit advice event will be hosted at Dundee Chamber of Commerce, forming part of a programme of Brexit clinics in the UK which have taken place across 2019.
The event will focus on managing cash-flow and working capital, exporting goods abroad, supply chain management, labour, and protecting businesses against fraud.
The clinic will also look at using data and technology to help boost business, from apps and automation, through to the bank’s partnership with Fintech MarketInvoice, which enables businesses to get funding against their outstanding invoices, unlocking fast access to cash.
Stuart Brown, Head of SME Scotland at Barclays, said:
“Businesses are going through an unprecedented period of uncertainty right now, and Barclays intends to play our part in supporting the local economy here in Dundee and across Scotland. We’re providing businesses help to prepare and cope with Brexit as best as they can, and we stand ready to help our clients through this period.”
“SMEs are the lifeblood of Scotland’s economy and we are determined to continue to support local businesses through both advice and lending activity. Our network of relationship managers are here to help them navigate the challenges and opportunities the coming months will bring.”
