Festive arrangements for Recycling Centres and Waste Collection

Published

5th December 2019

All seven Angus Recycling Centres will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day (Wed 25 & Thu 26 Dec) and again on New Year’s Day (Wed 1 Jan) and Thursday 2 January.

Apart from these festive Public Holidays, normal operating hours will be in place.

All household and commercial collections will take place as normal over the festive period, with the exception of those that were scheduled to take place on these Public Holidays (25/26 Dec and 1/2 Jan).

Collections due to take place in Wednesdays 25 December and January 1 will now be made on Fridays 27 December and 3 January instead.

Those scheduled for Thursdays 26 December and 2 January will now be uplifted on Saturdays 28 December and 4 January. This applies to household and commercial collections (and includes food waste collections).

Residents can go to our dedicated Bins and Recycling webpages for more information.

Anyone seeking a Special Uplift of household items is advised that the service will not be available from Monday 23 December to Friday 3 January.

Public toilets will also be closed on 25/26 December and 1/2 January.
