Extension to survey deadline - until 30th April 2020.

Given the current COVID-19 crisis and the challenges that organisations are dealing with we understand that you may not yet have had a chance to complete the survey.

To allow as many organisations as possible to participate in the research the deadline for the survey has been extended to 30th April 2020.

If, in fact, you have already completed the survey, thank you for your time and contribution to the study.

As a reminder:
We are working with various other partners to develop a data resource, which will provide insight into the extent to which organisations in Scotland are working towards sustainable travel. It is vital that we develop an accurate picture of current activity in order to develop strategies to improve workplace travel planning throughout Scotland and meet our climate change targets. Our ultimate aim, alongside our partners, is to provide tailored support to help organisations progress towards sustainable transport choices.

In order to develop this data resource and better understand sustainable and active travel within organisations, Travelknowhow Scotland is conducting a short online survey, which is being administered by independent research agency, Progressive Partnership. The survey will take around 15 minutes to complete and covers details such as participation in sustainable transport schemes, the availability of onsite car parking and cycle facilities and difficulties in implementing sustainable travel plans. Even if your organisation has not yet implemented any sustainable travel plans, we are still very interested in your views.

The data from the survey will form the basis of a data set of organisations across Scotland, and will be an essential baseline against which future progress will be monitored. This data will be shared with our partners - including Paths for All, Cycling Scotland, Living Streets Scotland, Sustrans, COMO UK, Energy Saving Trust, Healthy Working Lives, and Transport Scotland– to help them develop their services. The data may also be made available to Regional Transport Partnerships (RTPs) and other transport stakeholders in Scotland. Only organisational level information will be used in the data set; your contact details will not be shared with the partners unless you agree to this. The data will never be shared with any other third parties.

You can access the survey by clicking the link below. The closing date for this survey has now been extended to 30th April.

We hope that you will be able to support this survey and help us work towards a more sustainable future for Scotland’s workplaces. We wish you and your colleagues all the very best at this extremely difficult and unsettling time and greatly appreciate your time and support on this matter.
