Customs Declaration E-Learning

Published

16th April 2020

The way we trade with the EU is about to change, introducing the need for forms and processes not previously required. Up-skilled people are the key to continued trading success once the UK leaves the EU.

The Chamber of Commerce network has partnered with some of the leading industry experts to launch a brand new Customs Declarations Training E-Learning Course, designed to help businesses meet customs requirements after the UK leaves the transition period on 1st January 2021

The Customs Declarations Training programme delivers flexible, bite-sized e-learning modules and virtual classroom sessions. You can start the course at any point and it can all be completed from the comfort of your home.

There is no pre-requisite for this course - anyone who currently completes Custom Declarations now or, will complete Custom Declarations when we leave the EU should complete this course.

Furloughed Staff and Training

If you have staff members who are currently furloughed but require this training, in accordance with UK Government guidelines, staff members can complete this training providing they are paid at least their appropriate minimum wage (NLW, NMW or AMW) for the time spent training, even if this is more than the 80% of their wage that will be subsidised.
