You can order three months of products, collect what you need from locations across Angus, or if you are self-isolating, by contacting Voluntary Action Angus to request a delivery. Grant Ritchie, Chair of the Angus Community Planning Partnership said: “In Scotland 1 in 5 women are affected by period poverty which is 1 too many. Angus Community Planning Partnership are committed to eradicating period poverty in Angus by 2021.

“In the last year 65,618 free period products have been distributed to community groups, local charities, council buildings and leisure facilities across Angus.

“Angus Community Planning Partnership are working hard to secure locations for our free period products however, we also know that accessing these locations may be hard for some people.

“To make sure that no one goes without, we have partnered with Hey Girls and VAA who can bring products straight to your door. This service is primarily for those unable to leave the house and get essentials.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every partner, business, charity and person who has supported Free Period Angus. Now, more than ever, it is important to make sure that those who need period products are able to have access. Find out about where to access free period products on our website or our Facebook page Free Period Angus.”
