Employer Engagement for Internships and Project Consultation

Published

23rd June 2020

As you may know, the University of Dundee offers Internship Modules and Business Management Internship Modules. These modules offer an opportunity for students to gain fantastic work experience and businesses the chance to take on a member of staff with no cost to carry out an internship.

We are now looking to arrange placements for 2020/21 and given the circumstances we find ourselves in are looking to arrange opportunities which could be done remotely. These project opportunities will be 30 hours in length and will take place from January-March 2021 and there are no restrictions in terms of the number of student interns you can take on – if you have two interns it will be 60 hours etc.

More information is available on the website https://www.dundee.ac.uk/careers/employers/internships/, as is the booking form and project provider handbook.

Businesses and organisations who are interested in a consultation project, there is an online form to be completed by Friday 21 August 2020. If you would like to ask any questions about the programme or would like to talk with our Employer Engagement Officer about ideas for your project proposal, please email Ailsa at Acormie001@dundee.ac.uk.

University of Dundee

Nobel Prize winning poet and honorary graduate Seamus Heaney has described the University of Dundee as ‘having its head in the clouds and its feet firmly on the ground.’ The ability to be both aspirational and down-to earth and to blend ground-breaking intellectual achievement with practical applications, has given the University its distinctive character.
