Generous support from Dundee United Supporters Foundation will see a cash injection into food projects across the city.

Martin Manzi, DUSF Steering Group Member said "We sold out our second batch of Foundation 1909 lager and we are delighted to be able to donate another £500 to DVVA bringing the total to £1000. Thanks to everyone who has bought the beer to support such a great cause."

Currently there are 24 third sector emergency food providers in the food insecurity network across the city, with efforts being coordinated by Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action and Faith in Community Dundee. DVVA are working alongside many local voluntary sector food provision organisations and community groups to co-ordinate emergency food distribution to those individuals and families who need it.

DVVA Chair, Liz Wilson extended thanks to the Supporters Foundations for their generous donation and all that have raised a glass in support of the distribution of food parcels to those in need.
