Members of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce met CityJet management on 10th November to discuss the future of the airline's Dundee to London City route.

Alan Mitchell, Chief Executive of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce, said: 'Dundee Airport is a major asset for the region and the CityJet service to London is a vital part of the transport connectivity for business, leisure and tourism. This was an excellent opportunity to allow 'typical' local businesses from across Dundee and Angus to sit down with CityJet to discuss how we can encourage more local business people to use the service. We also spent valuable time considering how better marketing of the route could bring more external visitors to Dundee and Angus to enjoy the world-class leisure and tourism attractions we offer. It was a very robust and productive meeting, and generated lots of ideas that we can take forward to make the service sustainable in the long term.  We are delighted that the Chamber can be part of this process and we are looking forward to working with CityJet, our members and our partners to create a positive future for the airport and its services.'
