You may recall from Nina Fairweather's 'In Your Shoes' back in August that she was filming at the Hotel Indigo Dundee, two bite-sized online training courses on infection control. Well the first course, Cleaning Practices for Infection Control is now live!!
Nina's background has primarily been working in the international Hospitality industry, with more than 20 years experience promoting good hygiene and safety practices. She has developed global policies and procedures and training programs and has been heavily involved in dealing with crisis management which encompassed outbreak management including foodborne illness, legionella, norovirus, H1N1, MERS, Ebola, and Zika virus. She is now supporting businesses with the development of Covid-19 risk assessments and protocols and carrying out audits. Who better placed to develop these online courses!
In this first course, Cleaning Practices for Infection Control, over seven lessons in under 30 minutes, you’ll learn practical cleaning tips to help with the prevention and spread of infectious diseases. By the end of the course, you’ll have a clear understanding on how to reduce the risks of exposure to infectious diseases, how to break the chain of infection, and how to use chemicals safely to avoid cross-contamination, including when and how to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The second course, 'Infection Cleaning Principles for Hotels' will be released later this month.
