SAMH Craft Fair a Big Success

The inaugural Big Pink Xmas Craft Fair, in aid of Scottish Association for Mental Health, took place on 10th December.

SAMH Big Pink Christmas Craft FairLocal artists from the Red Shed Artists Collective organised the craft fair, which raised in the region of £300 for SAMH. Stalls included fairy outfits, scarves, bags, paintings, hand-woven baskets, jewellery and much more.

The event was opened by Alan Mitchell, Chief Executive of DACC, and broadcaster Andy Kershaw came all the way from his home in Cheshire (with his dog, Buster!) to help throughout the day.

SAMH provides help, information and support, campaigns on behalf of people with mental health problems and raises money to fund their vital work. Find out more on the SAMH website.
