The Yetholm raider faces four rivals in the £15,000 Mackie\'s Moosical Magic Handicap Chase over nearly three miles.

Forster, a granddaughter of legendary late Scottish trainer Ken Oliver, said: \"He won twice at Kelso in the spring and has had a wee break since finishing third at the Perth festival. We\'ve had him four years and he\'s also done some point to pointing as well. He\'s also quite versatile as he\'s won over two and three miles.\"

Lowanbehold\'s opposition Russian Regent, Tangolan, Presented and Dr Moloney all boast winning form around Perth. The former is one of six booked rides for regular visitor and reigning champion jockey Richard Johnson.

Crack Irish amateur Jamie Codd, one for the leading lights among the unpaid ranks, partners Western Home for Gordon Elliott in the Limagrain Amateur Riders\' Handicap Hurdle.

Perth\'s hugely popular \'Rock at the Races\' meeting, part of the Mackie’s Summer Series, is celebrating its 10th anniversary as an event and comes at the half-way point of a so-far very successful racing season with the Fair City’s track’s public attendance figures up 5.3% on last year.

Hazel Peplinski, chief executive of Perth Racecourse, said:  “The unseasonal weather and soft going has caused the entries to cut up in quantity somewhat but the £100k of prize money on offer over the next two days means both meetings will still be laced with quality so we should hopefully see some great racing.

“Overall we’ve noticed a pleasant increase in the number of horses travelling to Perth thanks, in part, to the travelling stable staff relishing the improvement in equine logistics on site brought about by the new stable yard and Lodge accommodation.

“We’ve been running the Rock at the Races for a decade now and it’s created a special vibe for this evening fixture that falls amidst the music festival season in Scotland.  Value-for-money entertainment offering exciting jump racing, a sing-song to live music and a few beers could be the order of the day for locals or those on their holidays in Perthshire.

Gates for Rock at the Races (Tuesday July 26) open at 4.30pm with the first race scheduled for 6pm, and the last race at 9pm.

Gates for the Wednesday July 27 Race Meeting open at noon with the first race scheduled for 2.10pm, with the last race starting at 5.40pm.

Adult tickets are available from £18 online at www.perth-races.co.uk
