The Acting Lab: It’s Serious Fun

Published

The Acting Lab, founded in 2015, have just launched a new promotional video to highlight the high-caliber training provided to those individuals looking to boost their confidence and gain transferrable skills across acting, personal and business contexts.

There is a couple of places left for the Beginners Acting Course starting tomorrow.  More information can be found on the website.

Engaging warm-ups in the spirit of play lead the way to learning very powerful and revealing practices such as developing stage presence, enhancing vocal skills, learning scripts and performing in front of others, taking risks in a safe environment and stretching personal boundaries.

Students have reported increased self-confidence, conquering their fears of speaking in public, increased ease in social interactions and a great sense of personal achievement.

The video, produced by David Cruickshanks of Digital Media Fife, highlights the fun participants have during the training and the energy that is seen throughout. The video came about after David attended a Theatre Games and Improvisation workshop. After having so much serious fun during the session he wanted to show others, who may be intimidated to join in, the relaxed atmosphere and the confidence people gain from attending.

The Acting Lab also offers One to One Acting Coaching and One to One Communication Skills Coaching. For further information please contact Elaine Newton  elaine.newton@mac.com

You can view the new video on their Facebook page (or by clicking on the image below).
