Maggie's Dundee Jail or Bail

On Friday 12th April, Maggie's Dundee cancer support charity are 'locking up' some of Dundee's most wanted criminals to raise vital funds for people with cancer and their loved ones.

This exciting fundraising event aims to raise at least £10,000 which will directly support people in Tayside, Angus and North East Fife who are affected by cancer.

With charges including “not allowing the team to have an office dog” and “cycling without lights” some of the region’s most notorious ‘criminals’ are to be locked away and won’t be released until they raise enough money to pay for their crimes – and to support leading cancer charity Maggie’s Dundee.

They will be locked in a room with only a laptop and a phone, and can only access privileges, like cups of coffee and eventual freedom, when they raise agreed amounts to support the thousands of people dealing with cancer that Maggie’s Dundee supports every year.

The Jail or Bail event will take place on Friday, 12th April and will be live streamed on the Maggie’s Dundee Facebook page - everyone can follow proceedings and help raise bail money, as well as support a vital charity.

Those interested in helping bail out the jail birds and support Maggie’s Dundee can do so by visiting the Jail or Bail Just Giving Page when it goes live on Friday 12th April. A link will be available on the centre’s social media channels. If you would like to be locked up, please get in touch: dundeefundraising@maggies.org or 01382 496384.
