For the third year running we are delighted to be able to offer members a networking breakfast on the first day of the Dunhill Links Championship to be held at The Carnoustie Golf Hotel.

Thursday 4 October is the first day of the tournament giving attendees the opportunity to watch high profile celebrity & world-class golfers in action.

Some of this years celebrities taking to the fairways will be Brian McFadden, Allan Lamb, Greg Kinnear, Andy Garcia, Jamie Dornan and Tom Chaplin but who will they be teeing off with? Padraig Harrington, Ernie Els, Martin Kaymer, Tommy Fleetwood, Ross Fisher, Pablo Larrazabal and Miguel Jiminez are all set to try and win back the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship trophy from Tyrrell Hatton who has taken home the trophy for the last two years.

Our guest speaker during the morning will be Michael Wells. Michael is Carnoustie Golf Links first Chief Executive and joined the Trust from The R&A in St Andrews in September 2017, where he was formally Director of Championship Staging responsible for the staging of the world’s oldest major golf Championship, The Open. Michael learned his trade in the sports marketing and event management industry for over 18 years, starting his career with The R&A at The Open Championship at Carnoustie in 1999.

Michael is an experienced leader and communicator and responsible for the success of multiple teams and projects, having been annually responsible for the staging of The Open, including directing and co-ordinating suppliers, rights holders, broadcasters and suppliers from across the globe. He is now engaged on consolidating Carnoustie Golf Trusts strategic direction, optimising commercial success for the Links, and ensuring it is positioned as one of the world’s leading golf brands.

Admission to the course after the breakfast is free and we hope to see many of you out enjoying the golf.

Numbers are limited due to the venue capacity, but we hope to be able to accommodate all who are interested - the event is free to DACC members and we would like to thank the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship for hosting us once again.
