The Food and Drink Export Council is launching a programme of four peer-to-peer led events across the UK designed to increase the sector’s exporting capability. The programme is kicking off in Scotland during International Trade Week. 

Who is this for? 

Scottish food and drink businesses already exporting who are looking to expand and grow their exports, build their exporting capability, and connect with likeminded peers. 

Why attend? 

This free to attend event will compromise of interactive sessions on:  

·        creating strategic export plans 

·        understanding export markets 

·        identifying and building relationships with overseas partners 

a choice of breakout sessions from groupage consolidation to financing your export plan, and an opportunity to network with your peers over lunch 
With guest speaker Katie Birrell, hear the story of how Nairn’s Oatcakes became a global exporter.

Representatives will be on hand throughout the day to tell you about the export support services they can offer, including:  

·        The Institute of Export and International Trade 

·        Alibaba Group 

·        UK Export Finance 

·        The Food and Drink Exporters Association 

·        Scotland Food and Drink
