Partners for Business Programme

Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce is proud to work with a number of leading organisations across the area who invest in the programmes that we run to support members and businesses.

Our Enterprise & Platinum Partners form a close and mutually beneficial relationship with DACC, working with us to develop a strong local business sector and to promote Dundee and Angus as a world-class destination. They are some of the biggest and best employers in our city region and all make a strong, lasting contribution to local prosperity. They are instinctive participants in innovation, keen sharers of best practice and expert in their fields.

At this time of intense change and challenge, we are pleased that our Partners have come together to extend that expertise and support to every local business who needs it.

The Partners for Business Programme will start with:

  • Expert speakers joining our webinar programmes on key topics
  • Share their knowledge and expertise in our new A View from the Bridge series
  • A new programme to mentor and support businesses

This mentoring support may be as little or as much as a series of emails or phone-calls or a one-off online meeting. This programme will be delivered around a needs based issue, such as financial management, product line innovation, succession planning, new manager support, commercial development, business development/sales/marketing.

The Chamber will facilitate the matching, listening to businesses who need support and finding the right mentor to help guide you through the issue. We have successfully managed hundreds of mentoring pairings over the last three years and the present Coronavirus environment makes the need for practical support more vital than ever.

As we navigate through lockdowns and challenging times like no other, this programme is open to any business in Dundee & Angus that needs it. Even if your challenge is struggling to cope with the volume of work, having to very swiftly change your business model, or manage your people remotely, this programme will find you someone in a local business who can help and guide you and be a sounding board.
