Craigiebank developmentThe Craigiebank Association aims to redevelop the existing Craigiebank Church into a community centre which would incorporate a large multi purpose meeting space and a range of smaller meeting rooms in a new building to replace the existing Craigiebank church building.

The proposed building (pictured) envisages creation of large plenary meeting space with a range of smaller venues which could be used for seminars, conferences, business meetings and training use amongst other community uses.

The project incorporates:

  • demolition of the existing church
  • creation of a multi-purpose community hall with large plenary hall, kitchen, lunch club area, offices and associated ancillary accommodation
  • repair and refurbishment of the existing halls
  • part of the grounds allocated to housing to help finance the development

The Craigiebank Association is inviting Chamber members to give feedback on the proposals which can be viewed on its website at www.craigiebankassociation.org.uk
