Scottish Engineering Quarterly Review - June 2012

The latest quarterly review paints an optimistic portrait of the sector, with improved order intake, output volumes, recruitment and a commitment to further investment in capital expenditure and  training.

Staffing levels continue to grow, although overtime is being cut back in some areas, and general optimism is growing amongst nearly a third of companies surveyed. Capital investment is positive in most sectors, as is investment in training.
