Conference Boost for Dundee

The importance of conferences and conventions to the region has been highlighted with the news from Dundee and Angus Convention Bureau that five major conferences in Dundee and Angus in September have generated over £1.3m economic benefit for the local economy.   The events attracted over 750 delegates from around the world.   One of the events - the Annual Solanaceae Conference - was held in Dundee after the city beat off competition from around the UK.  The fact that this was the first time this event had been held in the UK demonstrates the quality of facilities and services that Dundee and Angus offers.  Click here to read more.
