Welcome to issue 8 of Clarity About Circularity, a blog series by MDG Group. This week, we tackle a very effective sustainable change you could make to your business: switching your lighting systems to LED.
If you’ve been keeping up to date with Clarity About Circularity, you’ll know just how important it is for your business to achieve Net Zero. As we all look to play our part in protecting our planet and safeguarding the future of the generations to come, we must consider areas for potential improvement.
LED systems can dramatically reduce the energy consumption of a business, both saving significant amounts of money and helping to meet sustainability targets by minimising carbon footprint. They tend to have a longer lifespan and are significantly more efficient that most equivalent incandescent or fluorescent lamps. Additionally, LEDs offer a high brightness and light intensity, along with instantaneous illumination and they also come with a large colour range to choose from.

MDG work closely with a specialist provider of LED Lighting Systems to provide our customers with a high-quality bespoke LED System to suit their needs. LED lighting can significantly reduce energy costs by potentially reducing your energy usage through lightning by 50%. There are grants and schemes available to help make these systems affordable to as many businesses as possible, which MDG Group can assist you with.
If you’re looking for a way to advance your Net Zero Journey or are looking to make a start, contact us today and we will be happy to discuss the possibilities of LED lighting your business!
