ANGUSalive are pleased to announce that Macmillan Information and Support sessions made a return to libraries in Angus on Thursday 31 March 2022.

ANGUSalive’s trained volunteers are available for support if you are living with or beyond cancer or if you are the family, friend or carer of someone with cancer.

Working in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, resource assistants are available at Arbroath, Forfar, Kirriemuir and Montrose libraries to provide free emotional, practical and financial support in-person.

Judith Crawford, Macmillan Resource Assistant with ANGUSalive said: “Going through cancer can be a lonely and isolating experience at any time, and the Coronavirus pandemic has made life even more difficult for many people affected by cancer. If you need information or just to chat for support, we're here for you.”

The first session took place at Forfar library on Thursday 31 March at 3pm and occurs weekly at the same time.
