What Digital Marketing Training Would Benefit Your Business?

Following the success of recent e-Commerce and Social media workshops delivered at Dundee & Angus College, feedback received during these workshops has indicated that a more in-depth, professional qualification in Digital Marketing would be attractive to local companies, especially for those employees involved in the planning, implementation or measurement of digital strategies.

The feedback has also indicated that delivery of training suitable for professionals at all levels and disciplines, which will prepare them to take up a more specialist role within the overall marketing domain, would be highly desirable.

The Digital Industries team at D&A College has been looking at various delivery options, and are now asking local companies to provide some basic information in order to deliver the training that would best suit industry need.

Dundee & Angus College are looking to provide 2 options –

1. a full Professional Diploma in one of the following subject areas;

• Digital Marketing
• Google Search Marketing
• Facebook Marketing
• Mobile Marketing
• Social Media Marketing
• Strategy and Planning

This Diploma would be accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority at level 8 and would also be mapped onto the European Qualifications Framework (EGF) at level 5.

The proposed fee for delivery of this qualification would be £1245, including tuition, materials and refreshments, and would be available to study in three different formats – full time, part time, or online.

2. individual modules, available on a flexible basis;

• Module 1: Introduction to Digital Marketing
• Module 2: Search Engine Marketing (SEO)
• Module 3: Search Engine Marketing (PPC)
• Module 4: Email Marketing
• Module 5: Digital Display Advertising
• Module 6: Social Media Marketing (Part 1)
• Module 7: Social Media Marketing (Part 2)
• Module 8: Mobile Marketing
• Module 9: Analytics
• Module 10: Strategy & Planning

The proposed fee for individual modules would be £125, including tuition and materials, and this option would be available online. Completion of all 10 modules would lead to a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing.

If either of these options would be of interest to you (or to individuals within your company) please email Chris Cooke to indicate which option would be most suitable for your needs, and to confirm that the proposed fee structure would be appropriate.

Following industry input, the College hopes to have these training courses available as soon as possible.
