Local Business Here’s the Plan beats major competition to win the Chairman’s Award at this year’s prestigious CeeD (Centre for Engineering, Education and Development) Awards.

CeeD, who hosted the glittering awards dinner at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow last Thursday, is a recognised national body in Scotland which aims to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability through peer-to-peer knowledge exchange. The cream of academic STEM, engineering and technology businesses in Scotland were well represented at the Awards with over 600 attendees.

Business Development Director Annette Welch said “We are very proud to have won this particular award as it recognises the contribution of the whole team to the CeeD network. We consult on all things energy and sustainability related, so to have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest STEM businesses in Scotland and be recognised for excellence is really significant”.

Managing Director Douglas Reid added “ We have been members of CeeD since 2020 and it’s provided us with numerous high-quality opportunities to develop the team, ourselves and our network. As a business Here’s the Plan staff have mentored other businesses and been mentored themselves. We also take part in Leadership Forums and regularly speak at events and take part in panel discussions. I would recommend membership for any Tech business looking for a network to thrive in”.

Head of Commercial Services Christian Williams, who won Young Person of the Year at last years CeeD awards commented “ We were blown away to win the Chairmans Awards given the tough competition. We feel that our services are still evolving and we have so much more to offer Scotland and the Ceed community, so this gives us continued confidence as we drive the business forward”.
