Two senior Scots politicians have been confirmed for the panel of BBC Radio 4’s “Any Questions’, to be broadcast live from Abertay University in Dundee this Friday, 14 November.

Margaret Curran MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, will join Lord Forsyth of Drumlean, former Conservative Secretary of State for Scotland, to answer questions from a live audience.

BBC Radio 4’s “Any Questions”, which celebrated its 66th anniversary earlier this month, will be broadcast live from Abertay’s Main Lecture Theatre on Friday 14 November.

The programme first went on air on Friday 12 October 1948, and today has a regular audience of 1.5 million people each week.  It has been chaired by Jonathan Dimbleby since 1987, and features a different panel each week drawn from the worlds of politics, the public service, business, the arts and media, answering questions on literally any topic submitted by the live audience.

Tickets for the live broadcast at Abertay University on 14 November are free and can be obtained from the University’s main reception desk at 40 Bell Street, tel:  01382 308061, or by emailing communications@abertay.ac.uk

Doors open at 7pm and the live broadcast starts immediately after the 8 O’Clock News.  The other two panel members are due to be announced soon.
