The Tayside Regional Advisory Board and partners will hold the first Tayside International Conference on “How to grow your business internationally” at Michelin Athletic Club on Friday 14 November.

By attending this event companies will get a unique opportunity to hear from two experienced Company speakers, John Reid, Factory Manager from Michelin and Paul Grant, Chairman from Mackays, on key aspects of exporting.

The programme, comprised of six other company speakers – Bob Hogg from Inveralmond Brewery, David Hay from Allthings, Debbie Hutchison from Merlin ERD, Michelle Quadrelli from Scott & Fyfe, Kevin Fox from LAT_56 and Prof. Steve Parkes from STAR Dundee – and advisors from Business Gateway, Smart Exporter and Scottish Development International, aims to inspire the audience and raise the international aspirations of local companies.

We will discuss the opportunities and challenges businesses face selling overseas and hear directly from local companies, who have successfully grown their businesses in new markets. Advisors will also be on hand to provide advice on the free support available to Tayside companies.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from global and local companies on their exporting journey, and will kick start a three year programme of partnership activity focusing on exporting across Tayside.
