Volunteer Centre Dundee Seeks Treasurer for Board of Directors

Published

12th March 2015

Volunteer Centre Dundee is currently seeking to appoint a Treasurer to its Board of Directors; this is a vital role that requires a strong background in financial management (preferably with associated qualifications).  You would be making an invaluable contribution to our work by advising our Board of Trustees on best use of our resources and how to grow our assets.

Our Board are friendly, hardworking and passionate about the work of the Volunteer Centre. We have 5 enthusiastic Directors, all experienced in their own fields, who meet quarterly as a full Board and in between times on sub groups, one of which is Finance. You would take a lead on the latter supported by the Chief Executive and the Book keeper. You would ensure our financial compliance with OSCR and Companies House (training and support available) whilst working with the Board to ensure the financial stability of the organisation.  An interest and/or experience in setting budgets and applying for external funding would be advantageous.

This is a great opportunity to work with a strong charitable organisation that has been supporting the third sector and volunteering for over twenty years in Dundee.

If you would like to discuss this position further please do not hesitate to call Kirsty Keay 01382 305704 or email Kirstykeay@number10.org
