SCOTTISH FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE - STRATEGIC PLAN 2016 – 2019 DEVELOPMENT

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is required by the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Act 2012 to produce a Strategic Plan which will set our strategic direction and outline our priorities.  The next 3 year Strategic Plan is set to be published by April 2016.

This year, throughout May and June, the SFRS will be carrying out a programme of engagement with our partners and stakeholders to inform and help shape our future ambitions.

They wish to invite you to attend a focus group event that will be held in the City Chambers, City Square, Dundee on Friday 12th June 2015 1000hrs-1300hrs. The event itself will provide an opportunity for them to present an overview of their current operating environment and to exchange views on local and national priorities, shared areas of interest and mutual challenges. It is envisaged that the event will last approximately two and a half hours with a buffet lunch provided at the end.

Places are limited but if you would like to attend please E-mailing Watch Manager Steven Low at: steven.low@firescotland.gov.uk by no later than Wednesday 3rd June 2015 and also inform him of any special dietary/special assistance requirements you may have. If you are unable to attend and there is someone suitable to attend this event on your behalf please forward them a copy of this invite.

They look forward to hearing from you.

Colin Grieve

Local Senior Officer
