“One of the Best Vodkas in the World”

GQ Magazine the leading men’s luxury lifestyle publication has named Arbikie Vodka as one of “the best vodkas in the world”.

Arbikie Vodka, Scotland’s first potato vodka, is described by GQ as “scotch but not as you know it” and recommends drinking simply over ice to enjoy the depth of flavour.

Unlike the majority of vodka, which is made with wheat, the Arbikie brand is made from potatoes, giving it a distinctive flavour and providing a slightly sweet, very creamy and exceptionally smooth taste.  Arbikie uses copper pot stills to bring the time-honoured art of Scotch whisky distilling to the production of all its spirits, giving Arbikie Vodka a comparable quality and depth to Scotch.  

Innovation is at the heart of Arbikie products; from being Scotland’s first potato vodka to the launch of Scotland’s first single estate gin – ‘Kirsty’s Gin’. Arbikie Vodka was recently awarded ‘Best Vodka’ at the Paris Spirits Innovation Awards.

Kirsty Black, Arbikie’s Master Distiller created the vodka. Kirsty has enjoyed an impressive career so far. She gained her Masters degree from Heriot-Watt University in brewing and distilling and was also recognised as “best in class” by the Worshipful Company of Brewers. 

Arbikie is joined by international heavyweights such as Belvedere, Grey Goose, Ketel One Vodka and Snow Leopard. Arbikie Vodka has been available for only nine months, Director John Stirling commented:
