The new subsidiary, DP&L Golf, will target customers from the UK, Europe, North America and the Far East, notably China.
The new business will operate from DP&L Travel\'s existing offices in St Andrews and Dundee.
Businessman Alick Bisset, who acquired Dundee-based travel, recruitment and industrial supply firm DP&L Group in 2014 from the Chalmers family, said: “DP&L Golf will offer an unforgettable golfing experience in Scotland, whether it be a short break or long golfing holiday.
“The emphasis will be on providing an outstanding golfing experiences harnessed to great value for money.
“We will uniquely provide a full tour arrangement for our clients which includes the provision of flights for both UK and overseas customers.”
He added: “When we took over the DP&L Group last year it was always our intention to develop an inward golf tours business.
“It seemed a natural fit for a travel business based in Dundee and St Andrews - on the doorstep of two of Scotland’s most iconic golfing regions - to develop a golf tour business.”
