RRS Discovery is about to embark on a major restorative voyage in the coming months and Volpa’s role will be to raise awareness of the project, the cultural significance and heritage of the historic vessel and help Dundee Heritage Trust to drive activity to generate much-needed funds for the work.

2016 is also an exciting year for Verdant Works as the Dundee jute and social history museum celebrates 20 years as a visitor attraction, and Volpa will be generating buzz about this special birthday in coming weeks.

As Perth’s largest integrated marketing and PR agency, Volpa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their latest roles, with a proven track record working with an array of clients from diverse sectors, from The Enchanted Forest and The Famous Grouse Experience, to Oor Wullie’s Bucket Trail and Miller Hendry.

Kim Adamson, Sales & Marketing Officer at Dundee Heritage Trust, commented: “We are really pleased to have welcomed Volpa on board to work alongside the Dundee Heritage Trust in what is set to be an exciting period of change, particularly as our historic vessel, the RRS Discovery goes through some major restoration work. We hope, by working with Volpa, we can highlight the work the of Dundee Heritage Trust within Dundee and nationally.”

Volpa was also recently appointed by Perth & Kinross Council’s City of Culture 2021 bid to manage the social media for the exciting campaign.

Tricia Fox, Managing Director of Volpa, commented: “This year, Volpa has seen a steady growth, both internally and externally. We have grown from a team of 4 to 11 staff members in under two years and, with a blossoming team, we are excited to have continued to grow our client base. We are delighted to be working with Dundee Heritage Trust and helping to bring to life the many stories that they have to tell. We are also thrilled to be part of Perth City’s bid to become City of Culture in 2021.
