Richard Frenz, a lawyer with Tayside based solicitors and estate agents Miller Hendry, has been given one of The Law Society of Scotland’s highest accolades for being an expert in family law.
Richard has been deemed an accredited specialist in the area of family law, one of just 500 accredited specialists in 28 specialisms across Scotland.
The accolade recognises Richard’s expertise in separation, divorce, residence, contact and adoptions, areas in which he has also lectured and written articles. His accreditation is renewed until 2021.
Richard is one of the longest serving accredited specialists under The Law Society of Scotland\'s scheme, having first gained accreditation in 1994. The scheme was established in 1990 to recognise solicitors who develop specialist knowledge during their careers and to help the public choose a solicitor who has expertise.
A graduate of the University of Dundee, Richard joined the then firm of Sneddon Campbell & Monro in Perth in 1978 and became a partner in 1982. Married with four children, he counts among his outside interests golf, curling, bowling, tennis, badminton, squash and cycling.
