Women Ahead is delighted to announce that due to popular demand, we have extended the date of entry for the Women Ahead 2107 Business Awards to 17 November 2016! Make sure you take advantage of this extension to nominate yourself and/or one of your business colleagues as there are few opportunities where it is possible to praise and reward the efforts of women . The Awards highlight the hard work, vision and dedication of women in Dundee and Angus and help to raise the profile of women in business and the community.

Who is eligible?
Any woman living or working in Dundee and Angus may nominate herself or be nominated by someone else under one of the six Awards categories:
- Most Enterprising Business of the Year Award - sponsored by Blackadders
- Independent Woman of the Year - sponsored by - sponsored by Fairways
- Community Woman of the Year - sponsored by MMG Archbold Chartered Accountants
- Most Promising New Business Award
- Outstanding Contribution Award - sponsored by Journeycall
- Young Woman of the Year Award - sponsored by the Malting House Graphic Design Studio
Nominations are welcome from members and non members of Women Ahead.

How do you enter an Award or nominate someone?
You may nominate yourself or be nominated by someone else. Nominations are submitted via an online form.
Once your nomination has been received, it will be checked and you will be sent an application pack.
Completed applications must be received by Thursday, 17 December 2016.
Successful applicants will be invited to a short informal interview in January 2017.
Who is on the interview panel?
Judges have been selected from the business community and academia. The process is conducted independently from Women Ahead.
The overall process is easy and pain-free.

- Nominate yourself or a woman you know who fits the criteria of one of the 6 Award categories.
- Sponsor an Award, a table at the Dinner or another element of the Dinner *.
- Advertise in the Dinner programme *.
- Book your tickets for the Awards Dinner on Saturday, 11 March 2017 here
- Donate a prize for the raffle, the proceeds of which will go to the Dundee and Angus Foodbanks
