Blackadders’ growth reaps rewards

The limited liability partnership with a network of offices covering Perth, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, delivered revenue of £11.7 million in the year to March 2016.

The rise of 14.3% was less than the 21% increase from the previous year but the 2016 period included costs associated with its merger with Boyle Shaughnessy of Glasgow.

Profit for the year before remuneration to members and profit share was up 14.8% at £3m, a slightly higher rise than the previous year.

Blackadders had 24 members in 2016 with the average profit per member up 14.8% at £127,860.

The profit share of the highest paid member was £200,294.
