Do you have a few hours per month to help mentor a young person looking to build their confidence and gain employment? Volunteer mentors work with a young person who has completed a Prince’s Trust programme and support them with goal setting and action planning to help them gain employment, training or further education

For The Prince\'s Trust mentoring is \"The provision of personal support, assistance, encouragement and inspiration to young people during and following our programmes, particularly at a time of transition and typically over a sustained period of time.\"

As a Progression Mentor you’ll make a real difference to the lives of young people by providing them with one-to-one support, guidance, encouragement and inspiration. You will mentor each young person for three to six month, supporting them one-to-one and, in some cases, in half-day workshops. It is about guidance and helping young people to find and translate information, understand problems, identify solutions and implement action plans. We believe that every young person should have the chance to succeed. So, we help 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.
