29th June 2017

We are working with Resource Efficient Scotland to support a week of events in August aimed at promoting sustainable business practices by reducing energy, water and waste.

This is a great opportunity to get involved by either attending the events or by showcasing the sustainability measures you have implemented in your business.

This exciting week of events will be delivered on the week commencing 21st August and will be open to all small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in Angus. Events include:

A breakfast briefing aimed at business managers
- an informative talk on how your businesses can finance its resource efficiency investment projects

A Green Champions training workshop
-  a full day event showing how to save money in your business by using resources more efficiently

Resource Efficiencyclinic
- bookable face-to-face meetings with a resource efficiency advisor to get tailored advice on how to lower your business’s utility bills through energy efficiency and resource efficiency

The events will be led by Resource Efficient Scotland, a national government-funded programme, together with local partners, and all businesses in the area will be invited. To find out more and book your place at these events visit the Angus Sustainable Business Week event page.

“Cutting energy, water and waste costs could be the easiest way for your business to boost profits. That’s why we’re encouraging our members to attend Sustainable Business Week and find out how to enjoy the long term financial benefits of sustainability.”

Alison Henderson, Chief Executive Officer, Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce
