This September you can visit the Great Wall of China without needing to pack your bags by registering to take part in ARCHIE'S Virtual Challenge 'Great Walk of China'!
WHY TAKE PART?
ARCHIE’S Virtual Challenge is supporting The ARCHIE Foundation’s Tayside Children’s Hospital Appeal. The ARCHIE Foundation is raising £2million towards a new children’s twin theatre operating suite which will transform the experience of children requiring operations at Tayside Children’s Hospital within Ninewells Hospital.
A major benefit of this new suite, apart from doubling the current operating capacity, will be to bring all the children’s services closer together in an outstanding facility which matches the wonderful clinical care delivered by the Tayside Paediatrics team.
The build of a brand new twin paediatric operating theatre suite will provide a first class environment supporting children of all ages and their families in hospital, from pre-operative care through to surgery and into recovery with lots of space for play inside and out.
HOW DO I REGISTER? All you need to do to take part in ARCHIE’s Virtual Challenge is register on http://www.archieschallenge.org.uk and you will be able to follow your progress on a virtual map throughout all of September!
Registration is free but you can choose to purchase a £5 ARCHIE’s challenge pedometer to help you track your steps if you wish or just use your own fitness app instead. There are some great prizes for participants including a free place for the highest individual fundraiser on The ARCHIE Foundation’s China Trek 2018!
Registration is free, all we ask is that you raise or donate a minimum of £10! Are you ready for ARCHIE’S Virtual Challenge? Participants will be travelling across a section of the Great Wall of China from the 1st to 30th September while raising essential funds to support our local sick children! The Archie Foundation are the official children`s charity for Tayside children`s hospital. We are near completion of our new Theatre Suite which 2 million was raised for this project.
