Eleanor Yearwood felt the shorter, snappier name and an upgraded website would streamline communication with clients and give her own business a fresh outlook.

She said: “I'm passionate about helping people develop their strengths and use their potential. The new name reflects that what we do ‘works.’

This year Eleanor has been working with another DACC member, Tokheim, a major Dundee employer and one of the world’s leading petrol pump manufacturers. The company was acquired by a US manufacturer earlier this year and General Manager Ken Scobie saw that this was an opportunity to continue to work with Eleanor to enhance teamwork and collaboration skills among his senior management and the wider teams.

Eleanor started working with Mike Gilbert, Mechanical Engineering Manager at Tokheim in September 2015, before facilitating a series of workshops with Ken and his senior team to help them meet the new challenges that being bought, not once but twice in 14 months would bring.

The Dundee team have gained a reputation within the new parent company for business excellence and having a connected team with a clear direction and a determination to support each other. Ken said: “Eleanor's skills and energy were absolutely critical to making us see the gap between our current performance and where we could be. Everyone agrees that work is a lot more fun and that energy that had been wasted on needless arguments and in-fighting was now going into making the business even better.”
