Angus Carers Centre celebrate Respitality

Published

Angus Carers Centre 'Respitality', which has been active in Angus for just over a year,  is here to help develop opportunities for unpaid carers to take a break from their often demanding role of caring for a loved one. It’s been lovely to see the support from local businesses who donate ‘gifts’ to the centre which we can then in turn give to carers. These gifts can range from an overnight stay to a meal out or perhaps a spa treatment. It’s great to have a range of gifts as we support carers from aged 8 upwards and all different circumstances. The breaks can be taken at a time that suits the business and these can often be in the quieter season. There’s great publicity for businesses and often repeated business through word of mouth with carers.

Agus Carers Centre are holding a thank you event on the 30th November to show our appreciation to the businesses and also hear from carers about the difference it has made.

If you would like to find out more about making a gift or attending our event please email lesley@anguscarers.org.uk
