DH Recruitment Rewarded for Outstanding Performance

Lloyds TSB Scotland backing helps local firm grow.

Driver Hire Dundee & Perth, better known locally as DH Recruitment Dundee & Perth, has been named as the current Driver Hire 'Office of the Month' across the whole of the UK, having taken the award for the month of June.

In 2009, having sold his international distribution business, Roy McLellan heard about the potential sale of the Dundee and Perth franchise of Driver Hire recruitment agency, so created a business plan and took it to four banks. Lloyds TSB Scotland offered the best service, and with their backing, bought into the business in August 2009 with five employees.

Within a year, Roy had boosted turnover by 14% and increased the number of drivers on their books by 30%.

And now, the Dundee branch has been named Driver Hire's 'Office of the Month' in recognition of its strong financial performance, sales activity and customer engagement.
